After surfing through waves of uncertainty they pulled ashore some seaweed to soften the landing. Amongst the flies and crab skeletons and smell of salt, they rested for a time. Upon waking to the shrill sound of seagulls, they each followed their own method for moving with the tide. Some studied the surface of rocks while others sculpted sand into towers and snakes. Some watched aenenomies open and close while others read aloud and wrote letters on sour sweet skin. Some just walked and walked and walked and walked, while others invented a world in driftwood and drank tea. At the end of a very long day, they came together once more, leaving some residues in the dunes of time well spent.
